Oh, please, oh please, oh please,

Let it snow!

You can certainly have Christmas without the white stuff, but oh how awesome it is when it flies!

Brief update:

HG b-ball team 3-0. Yes, point guard, "you really are a good team this year" emphasis on "this" . They went 1-12 last year.

Senses of Christmas with Buck Naked this afternoon. It's a kindergarten classroom. You routinely taper all of your senses when you walk into it on the day to day, so they've thrown in the holiday challenge to defy nature and go in for the experience. I guess it could be worse, it could be the "senses of 5th grade right after recess" experience. From which there is no recovery.

Caroling at the Mall of Mass Hedonism and Greed tomorrow with HG. It's the most non school week of school second only to the last one in June.

Christmas chapel and Christmas parties on Friday. I'm one of Buck Naked's room moms, so that will be a fun afternoon. Although, I do have visions of arriving home plastered in frosting. I haven't wraped a single present, but I spent a few mindless hours winding up the last of the shopping. Yea me. I really dislike shopping. But I love giving presents, so, what are you going to do?

Have a wonderful, safe holiday weekend!

Man I wish I taught at your kid's school...eveything is "as normal" at ours...not "allowed" to have parties, celebrations if it's not related to the curriculum SOMEHOW!
(And about the kdg. class before Christmas? I was in a preschool class all a.m....with a SUB!) Whew!
Happy wrapping! :-) (love to give too!)

You can have some of ours. Albuquerqueans do NOT know how to drive on the snow. It's the one day of the year that the weather does anything at all, and everybody FREAKS OUT.

70s and humid today. Santa still manages to show on time, if somewhat over budget every year.

I can snow, but I would like it to hold off until Saturday. We have a 12 hour drive to MI on Friday. Have a merry Christmas and a happy New Year.

It's just freezing rain right now... ick. Just piling up on the deck like that...
p.s. - we had Bobby's Christmas program at school last night. I love that we can celebrate what we want to there!

We had some nice fat fluffy flakes this week, but they all went away ... it was amazing how much happier people were when it was snowing! I'm a little farther north than Kona Shelley, but no white Christmas here either!

The solution: Order over the internet. It's much less stressful and they bring it right to your door. Merry Christmas Trimama and The Tribe!!! Hope you guys have a good one!

While I am still holding my breath for a white Christmas, I saw an old, grizzled dude in our backyard. He was gathering wood muttering something about the rain not letting up. I distinctly heard the word "arc" and have no idea why he was talking about portions of circles.
