Trimama, you are an Ironman

The only thing sweeter than hearing Mike Reilly say that at 8:42 pm was the sight of The Tribe waiting at the kids chute to run me through the tape. We had the chute to ourselves, we got to break the tape, and we had done it!

I am an Ironman. I couldn't have done it without their love, Trihubby's unfaltering support, the love of my friends and family and of course the overwhelming encouragement of all you in the blogosphere.

We had a awesome day at the pool yesterday, drinking tequila and beers, savoring...

So, more to report of course, but later.

Thanks for all of your cheering and encouragement

What an amazing job! Thanks to Taconite Hubby for the updates, sounds like you had a great race. I look forward to reading your report when you've got some time. Enjoy yourself and take it easy.

Congratulations Trimama, and that's enough of a report until you've had a good chance to rest. Taconite Boy did a good job of keeping updates going, and I was tracking on Ironman all day.

Awesome job! Now, you get a small break and transition from Ironmom to Iron Sherpa. Let hubby train for a while.

That's so so SO awesome!!! It sounds like you had a wonderful day out there. I can't wait to read the detailed report about the race!

I won't be at the banquet this year. I'll be away on vacation during that time. We'll have to plan on doing dinner or drinks or something some other time this winter!

You realize, of course, this cements for all time your title as coolest mom on the planet. Who else's kids can brag, "My mom's tougher than your dad!!"

Enjoy the cerveza!! Hope you and the family can do a High Altitude Brick Adventure (HABA) this summer.

Greyhound,
Those same kids can say their mom is tougher then their DAD! :-/

Trimama -- my favorite part of watching the live feed was seeing the folks cross the line with their families -- you put it perfectly when you say you couldn't have done it without their support -- they were with you all along the way, and not just in the final 140.6, either. Congrats -- you are an inspiration, more than you know!

YOU-ARE-A-STUD!

I've been told that the best parts of the journey to Ironman are the people you meet. You and your family made that all so true for me at IM Florida. Thank you for making me feel welcome.

Stay tuned...

Hi! I saw you and your kids finish the race on the Internet, not knowing it was you, but it must have been. Very nice, and very nice they were there with you! Congrats.
